by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee." (1 Kings 3:5 KJV). Also please read (verses 6-9).

"And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing." (1 Kings 3:10 KJV). Every leader over their nations should approach and seek God with those verses (6-9). Many local and national government leaders miss this.

Why? Because Satan has them in his grip of power, control, and seizing wealth over knowing their creator. Again, many try to serve both. (Matthew 6:24). They use the low information intellect to gain power and status.

Please read into your spirit aloud what God’s response was to Solomon’s request. If you are cluttered with so much stuff (wealth and power), you should read this daily into your spirit. (1 Kings 3:11-15).

Many people dread thinking about death and the afterlife. But you can rest in peace before you even approach the thoughts of death and the graveyard by getting to know Jesus today. (John 14:6-1123-27).

God gives us his unconditional love with his conditional promises of blessings. But we must be willing to obey and follow his commandments. (1 Kings 3:14-15). Notice how Solomon’s first test involved people?

Wisdom is something all leaders should fast and cry out to God for when our nation gets this divided. But we desire to take the easy way out and just assassinate everyone or invoke rage (cursing) and hatred towards them.

Isn't that what the people wanted to do in Jesus' day? (John 7:16-19). Again, Solomon discussed the emptiness of all the world has to offer. Our children today are being gobbled up by social media. They are failing in schools.

Solomons spiritual guideline is to show us why we are here and where we are going. Which of these questions pertaining to life has crossed your mind? "What is your will for my life?" "What happens after death?"

"Why is there so much suffering?" "Why is there evil?" "Why is my life so messed up?" "Have I been a good parent?" "I'm I good enough on my own to make it to heaven?" "God, where are you?" "Does God still love us and take care of us?"

🗣📢 Last words: The Bible has much to say about what the heart seeks after. God has given his commandments that we should follow after. Without God in your life, it becomes meaningless. With God, your life has meaning for eternity.

When it comes to having just enough in your life, your heart approach to everything depends on your beliefs and where God is in relation to what and who is sitting on the seat of your heart.

19} "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20} But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21} For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:19-21 KJV).

Everyone has some kind of treasure. Even if your poor and living on the street, you can still have a treasure that is placed over your need for Jesus. God loves to bless his children. He enjoys giving good things us.

Solomon, the wisest man on earth, passed on his practical advice in the form of proverbs. He certainly affected the words of Agur and Lemuel who contributed to writing in Proverbs.

Agur, the son of Jakeh, understood the balance between extremes while living in this world. Please read these powerful words of wisdom aloud into your spirit, study group, or family devotions. Seek to act upon God's truth.

5} "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6} Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. 7} Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:

8} Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: 9} Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain." (Proverbs 30:5-9 KJV).

[Agur requested this because he recognized the dangers of both extremes: poverty could lead to dishonesty and the dishonoring of God, while riches might lead to pride and forgetting God.]

The book of Proverbs is filled with powerful words of common sense. Do you think our nation has lost its way in applying common sense to practical living lifestyles? The opposite of common sense is unwise actions.

God gives us timely warnings about foolish unholy acts that bring irrational behaviors. Like boys and girls undressing together in the same room. What could possibly go wrong? Without wisdom, senseless stuff happens.

[The book of Ecclesiastes and Proverbs covers a wide range of topics, including youth and discipline, family life, self-control and resisting temptation, business matters, words and the tongue, knowing God, and seeking truth.]

Please read these encouraging passages into your spirit. (Psalm 21:3-6103:5; Proverbs 28:10-11; Isaiah 52:7; Jeremiah 5:23-27; Matthew 7:11; 16:25-26; 2 Corinthians 9:7-9).

In the New Testament, whether enjoying a feast or enduring a famine, Paul depended on God for everything. His absolute trust and reliance on God formed the secret to his contentment.

Like Agur, Paul humbly recognized his need for God, who could keep him from the temptations of self-sufficiency, pride, immorality, and every other threat. There are so many people who live in envy of others every day.

Many feel jealousy towards the very wealthy. But it is God who allows them to gain it. Remember the story of the landowner and believers? (Matthew 20:1-16). Why are you jealous of Bill Gates or Elon Musk?

Why are you so quick to want to take away stuff from others? These same individuals would lose their minds if they won the lottery and everybody in the country came to take it from them.

We should never begrudge those whom God has chosen to allow them to gain wealth. We should know that none of us deserve those gold mansions in heaven or to walk on streets of gold. Don’t be jealous of what God does with his stuff.

Paul and Asaph considered what others had and decided to find true contentment in allowing God to supply their needs. (Psalm 73:17; Philippians 4:11-13,19). But in today's society, it seems we always want more.

[Solomon observed that those who spend their lives obsessively seeking money never have enough and never find the happiness it promises. Accumulating more and more wealth encourages greed.]

Wealth also attracts freeloaders and thieves. It may cause you to relocate and live in fear. And you always leave behind once someone carries you to the graveyard. (Mark 10:23-25; Luke 12:16-21).

No matter how much you earn, if you try to create happiness by accumulating wealth, you will never have enough. Supporting yourself and your family financially is not wrong but loving money leads to all sorts of sin.

You see beloved, God is not a stingy creator. He desires to bless us in great abundance. He delights to give wisdom to those who truly seek it (Proverbs 2:6–8; James 1:5-8).

If you are double-minded in material things, meaning you place them over God, he may decide to keep you safe by not allowing you to have material success. There are days you may find yourself in some scary situation.

It could be health related, depression, financial ruin, marital pitfalls, child sickness, or any number of problems. God cares about them all and can meet every need you bring to him. Our faith moves the heart of God to act.

This only happens when we pursue a living relationship with God. His presence gives us real satisfaction about life. With God in your life, you'll be able to see to live with joy, contentment and purpose.

Without God there is no truth to all your hard work and dedication to acquiring stuff that one day your hands will let go of. Even your best achievements are worth nothing in the long run without Jesus being Lord of your life.

If you do not believe in Jesus, you are chasing after the wind. Your spirit is bankrupt, and your life will be empty and unfulfilled. If there is no salvation and no God in your career of searching, then there is no point in life.

Please allow me to sear your mind with these last words. The humble Christian is far happier in a cottage than the wicked in a palace.

🛐 Here’s a prayer you can pray to hold loosely the stuff in life. "Heavenly Father, I realize I came into this world without a stitch of clothing. I was taken care of by someone who gave into my life. Thank you for showing me true life today.

Lord, I don’t desire wealth, nor do I seek to live in poverty. My only desire is to have what you know is best for me. Please give me only what is pleasing, best, and necessary. I pray for just enough for today.

I found out today that I should seek those things above where you are and not set my affections on things like black Friday. Help me Lord to receive instructions from you and not the doomed culture around me.

Help me to put heavens priorities over what the world is chasing after. Give me the same desire Paul had when saying you were his prize above all other things. I desire to know him and the power of his resurrection.

Thank you for opening the eyes of my heart today to know all my abundant needs are met through you alone. You alone are my heart’s desire, my rock and fortress. Your blessings are greater than anything else. I love you Lord, Amen."
