Real Life For Your Heart

It was worth it

on his masterpiece. Being made in God's image gives every human dignity and worth.
If I were to ask you, "What is the value of the human soul?" What would your answer be? Is it more costly than a Master credit card? Is it worth more than lottery ticket? Is it worth more than a trip around the world?
What about eternity? Let's look at what Jesus said about the eternal nature and immense worth of the soul. 35} "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
36} For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37} Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Mark 8:35-37 KJV).
What could you offer God (who created your soul and spirit), that would cause him to forsake his love and care of you? Take another look at the words "save" and "lose" again. These words show that Jesus was not just speaking of physical life.
He was speaking about the essence of who you are, the soul. When the Bible speaks of the real you, it goes beyond the sinful flesh and bones. It speaks to your spirit and soul (mind, will, and emotions), the real you.
That's why you're so valuable to God, simply because you came from him. (His breath and image). That's why he sent his Son so you would not die in your sins. (Spiritual death). (Revelation 20:10-15; 21:8).
This is why your spirit must be regenerated (Born-again) (John 3:3, 6-8) before you can enter a Holy place where God lives called heaven. The sure way to save the soul is to lose it into the loving hands of Jesus.
Therefore, there is no exchange rate high enough on this earth to purchase a soul. No amount of money can purchase a soul. Even with the ingenuity of Elon Musk and his money and rockets is not enough to buy the soul.
6} "They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; 7} None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
8} (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) 9} That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption." (Psalm 49:6-9 KJV).
Jesus is the only one who paid the price (his precious blood) so we could be set free from slavery to sin in order to begin a new life with him. Please read the following verses into your spirit.
"For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Mark 10:45 KJV).
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 KJV).
"Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." (Hebrews 9:12 KJV).
Therefore, my beloved doubters, see how special you are to God? You can see the loving sacrifice of what Jesus went through to redeem your precious soul and spirit. He took the fall (agonizing beating and death) for you above all.
Jesus sees you as his crowning jewel of creation. We can be like the diamond in the rough work it takes to produce such a brilliant living stone. (1 Peter 2:5). Our sins make us rough and unfit for heaven in our current state.
But once we turn from our sin through repentance, then God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit take up residence in our soul and spirit. (Revelation 3:20; John 14:23). When we draw near to God, he draws near to us. (James 4:8).
So, are you ready to receive truth that sets you free from feeling worthless when God says you’re just the opposite? Here’s the way Paul said it concerning truth telling.
16} "Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? 17} They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them." (Galatians 4:16-17 KJV.
🗣📢 Last words: Many times, people carry hard hearts and their ears are clogged when someone tells them God truly loves them. We've all at one time (when we did not know God) maybe said, "If God loves me, why ____________?
Many of you may feel as if nobody cares about you or that no one can help you. But I'm here to tell you this morning, there is one who can. "I KNOW A MAN WHO CAN!" If you'll allow him to come in by faith, he'll change you, he'll touch you.
Do you realize how valuable you are? If you doubt God truly cares about you, here are valuable worthwhile love passage notes meant just for you to lock away in your heart. Just read them aloud to your spirit.
"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." (Psalm 127:3 KJV).
13} "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14} I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15} My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16} Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."
17} "How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18} If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee." (Psalm 139:13-18 KJV).
4} "Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5} Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." (Jeremiah 1:4-5 KJV).
"The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee." (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV).
6} "Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7} But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows." (Luke 12:6-7 KJV).
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10 KJV).
"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light" (1 Peter 2:9 KJV).
You can also read in your devotion time, (Matthew 18:1-6; Isaiah 49:16). We are the apple of his eye. We are his greatest creation. There are many more reasons why you should allow God to love you so you can love yourself.
Those who are struggling with self-worth and suicidal thoughts of loneliness, you are never alone. Jesus does love you. No matter what the devil and the world tell you, you certainly matter to God.
Remember beloved, human beings are created by God in is image. Therefore, every person, from conception to natural death is supremely loved by God. No one was created by God to destroy them. (2 Peter 3:9; Matthew 25:41).
Christians, then, are called to defend, protect, and value all human life. From the miracle of life in the womb to the body’s ability to regenerate cells and tissue for healing, we see God’s amazing fingerprint at work.
Humans are breathtaking creatures embodying a touch of the creator himself and reflected in the wonder of human life. So, at what point did you become valuable? As an infant? As an elderly person or even in womb?
Reminding us again. You cannot buy eternal life with God. Even if you give away millions to charity, you can’t earn God’s favor. Only God can redeem your soul; only he can pay the price.
Don’t make the accumulation of material wealth the purpose of your life. No amount of wealth can keep you from dying or buy your way into heaven. Don't give your life away to things that perish. (Matthew 19:20-29).
🛐 Here’s a prayer you can pray to believe what God says about. "Heavenly Father, thank you for showing me how precious I am in your sight. I'm so thankful I can stop believing all the negative things in my mind.
Lord, I do realize that I am undeserving of your grace and mercy, I am beyond grateful that you extend both to me daily. Lord, please help me to fully embrace the truth that my worth is not based on what I do, but who I belong to.
Today Jesus, I fully understand my identity is in you alone, and your work on the cross. Please help me to remember this truth daily as I fight against the enemy's lies.
Lord, when I am under spiritual attack, guide me with your words of truth. Help me to silence the noise and tune my heart to hear your voice. Please hide your word in my heart that I may not sin against you.
Lord, when I look in the mirror, help me to see myself the way you see me. May the Holy Spirit remind me I am in the beloved. I am chosen, and secure in you because you first love me.
Your word says you loved me and chose me before the creation of the world. I praise you, Lord, for who you are in my life. I thank you for claiming me as your loving treasure. Praise you for adopting me, in your glorious name I pray, Amen."
