Remodeling Your Life

off doing something (distractions) so that it never gets done.
In contrast to the thief who takes life, Jesus moves in (His Holy Spirit) and gives us new life. Life with Jesus is more deeply meaningful than life without him because of his overflowing forgiveness, love, and guidance.
The life he gives to us is abundantly rich and satisfying. When the Holy Spirit takes up residence within us, our lives are rearranged, redirected, and realigned.
God wants to redeem, not punish. But just like professional remodelers who come into your home to remodel, renovate, and restore, God comes in to the brokenhearted to restore their life. (Luke 4:18; Mark 5:1-19).
After such a wonderful miracle of saving a man’s life, why did the people want Jesus to leave? Evidently, they cared nothing for the needs of the man. They would rather give up Jesus than lose their source of income and security, the pigs.
This is entirely different than what the religious Pharisees and Sadducees (Satan's pawns) were offering the people. They were offering spiritual duct tape to crumbling lives. False religion is like moving into a mansion built on seismic ground.
The Bible tells us to give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). What does this mean? Well, preceding this verse Paul writes about anger. Anger can hurt others and destroy relationships.
If bottled up inside, it can cause us to become bitter and destroy us from within. See the point? Again, Satan wants to destroy your life from within.
It’s like leaving a breach in your home for thieves to come in and ransack your home, right after having it remodeled.
Anger can give the devil an opportunity to divide you and your family. Even trivial matters he can turn into home demolitions (eye soars).
The enemy doesn't need much to destroy your life. He is like the Camel 🐫 in the tent story. The Camel came to a tent and poked his head in.
He asked the tent owner if he could put his nose in the tent because it was cold outside. "Of course, said the owner." Then the Camel asked if he could put his neck in.
"It's ok with me," the owner said. The Camels face was filled with warmth, so he asked if he could place his forelegs in the tent, suggesting to the man he had plenty of space.
The tent owner stared for a moment and then said "I don't care, go ahead!" But in allowing this, he had to rearrange his position in the tent. This time the Camel said with boldness, "the flap is still open, I'm letting in the cold, can I come all the way in."
At this point the tent owner just grunted and move again to the edge of the other side in the tent. After squeezing in, the Camel said, "there isn't enough room for two in here.
One of us must get out, and that person is you!" He then pushed the tent owner out and scared him and chased him, and frightened him away.
This is how Satan uses strongholds (drugs, alcohol, fentanyl, illicit affairs, divorce, violence, crime, identity loss, abortion, anger, unforgiveness, murder, selfish ambition, idol racism, sorcery, cheating, gender identity, greed, stealing, lying, false religions and cults, etc.
The enemy (Satan) can use all of these vices to infiltrate, populate, legislate, decimate, and eliminate your life. Satan causes people to do what is right in their owns eyes. (Although their really being led by his deceptive eyes). (Judges 17:6; Galatians 5:19-21; 2 Corinthians 4:3,4).
Here are three men who did whatever they wanted in their own eyes. Cain, who murdered his brother out of vengeful jealousy (Genesis 4:1-16).
Balaam, who prophesied out of greed, not out of obedience to God’s command (Numbers 22–24). And Korah, who rebelled against God’s divinely appointed leaders, wanting power for himself (Numbers 16:1-35).
The same thing happened to individuals in Sodom and Gomorrah where these sinful cities were destroyed by God (Genesis 19:4-11; 23-26).
These men were already spiritually blinded with evil intentions, but ended up losing their physical sight also. In the Bible they typify the ultimate in degrading, sinful behavior and rebellion against God.
Satan can't create anything, so he just uses the same tactics in 2023 as he did back then. Some people define love as attaching your heart to anything of your choosing.
But Satan loves to pervert and twist what is real from God. Satan counterfeits everything. It’s been said sunlight is the greatest disinfectant. The Son is also the greatest disinfectant against darkness.
God's love brings abundant living and life, Satan brings pain and destruction and death. If you do not have a living relationship with Jesus (Romans 1:21-32; 8:9) then you will stand before him at the great white throne judgement (Revelation 19:19,20; 20:10-15; 21:8).
But if you have repented of your sins and turned to Jesus for forgiveness then you are a born-again and the Holy Spirit lives within you and you are a Christian.
You also have been given the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23). These other passages of scripture also apply to you. (1 John 4:9; Romans 8:5; 8:26,27; 12:6-21 Acts 1:8; Ephesians 4:12-13; 1 Corinthians 6:19,20).
🗣📢 Last words: From last week to this week, the Lord is still enthralled by your beauty, and it is you who he delights in calling his own. God has given us instruction in wisdom.
Just like a remodeler or a host comes to your home, bringing professionalism and sound advice to renew your home, God's word comes with sound wisdom to live in this decaying nation.
King Solomon sought out this wisdom early in his relationship with God, but just like the Camel in the tent, Solomon found out all is vanity. 1 Kings 3:5-14; Ecclesiastes 1:1,2
Please read some of Solomon and others words of wisdom inspired by the Spirit of God. (Proverbs 1:23; 3:13-18; 4:5-13; 12:15; 16:16; 24:3-8; James 1:5,6; 22,23; 3:17; Psalm 19:7; 78:1; 111:10; Ecclesiastes 7:12; 8:1; Matthew 11:15).
We are either becoming wise learners or refusing to learn and becoming foolish failures. Proverbs encourages us to make the right choice.
[Only the pursuit of a relationship with God brings real satisfaction because only through him can we truly understand reality.
When we understand what is real, the way God created the world to work, will we see the way to live with joy, contentment, and purpose.
If we try to find meaning in our accomplishments rather than in God, we will never be satisfied, and everything we pursue will become meaningless.]
We can pay attention to God by obeying him. If you think God is worth obeying, you will. If you think he is not worth obeying, you won’t. Jesus said something amazing that only a loving God would be willing to do for his creation.
That's take up residence inside us. Keep these words with you as you open the door of your heart. "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23 KJV).
The Greek word abode (monē) means to have a place of staying. To make a place, a residence. To have an abiding, dwelling, abode (home). Metaphorically, it is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit for believers. He wants his love for you to be up close and personal. His love for you is limitless and boundless.

🛐 Here’s a prayer you can pray to have your old home made new. "Heavenly Father, Lord, I acknowledge that I need your help to have my life restored and remodeled to resemble you. You did not create me to live in a gutted out life.
I realize it was Satan seeking to destroy me. I no longer want to be bound and crippled by fear, loneliness, rejection, unforgiveness, lust, bitterness, anxiety, doubt, low self-esteem, guilt, insecurities, addiction, suicidal thoughts, anger, self-defeating and judgmental thoughts.
Lord, your desire for me is to live in freedom from the holds of the world and the devil. I surrender my life to you Jesus. Please forgive me of my sins and take control of my life.
Teach me to control and conquer my thoughts and bring them into submission to you Lord. Teach me to replace every unhealthy thought with your word and your truth.
Help me take on the mind of Christ and focus my mind on things that are beneficial, holy, and true according to what is written in your word. Lord, I know that I am not fighting against human beings, but against rulers of darkness in high places.
Lord, I ask you to gird me with strength for battle so I can reject every temptation and thought that contradicts the truth of who you are and who I am in you. Help me to be strong in your mighty power, not leaning on my own strength or understanding.
Lord, I know I can’t break free by my own might so teach me to put on your armor of war so that I can take my stand against the devil’s schemes. Father, equip me with the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of your Spirit.
In the name and authority of Jesus Christ, I ask you to demolish every high thing, every stronghold, every Goliath, and every mind-oppressing spirit that seeks to keep me bound.
Lord, I know you are the remodeler and builder of my life. You are a shield around me, my glory, the one who lifts my head high. You are the potter in my life, and I am your clay.
Please continue to build my life that it stands as one of your shining pillars. Please cause this vessel to stand, the courage to fight, and the perseverance to win this battle.
Lord, fill this vessel with your peace that passes all understanding. Now to my only God and Savior Jesus, the Holy comforter, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."
