Real Life For Your Heart

{Page 2}
Your hearing frequency

God's voice in a divine way that evening on the same day he saved me after my 7-year-old niece died.
You can hear my testimony on the drop-down page. When I went to share my experience with the dream vision I had in the morning, my mother had told me I was saved by the Lord. Samuel returned and listened to the Lord as Eli suggested
So, how do you hear the voice of God? Did you know, no matter where you are in life, God can speak to you? The Bible itself is God's voice for us to follow. The words of his Son in the New Testament is his voice to follow.
Many of you are mired in all kinds of hurtful oppressive relationships. You have been listening to every so-called professional counselor of every aspect around your life, except for the voice who spoke you into existence.
Why do we lend our ears to incorrect advice? Because we typically gravitate to another voice of reason. But this voice only seeks our destruction. He seeks to steal, kill, and destroy you from within. (John 10:10).
Hears what happens to those who cannot hear the voice of God. That live under the same spirit as these men. Please ask the Lord to speak to your hearing as you read.
43} "Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44} Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45} And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 46} Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47} He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." (John 8:43-47 KJV).
After making this statement to the religious leaders, Jesus would tell others who his true sheep are and that they can hear his voice. Jesus certainly delt with all the physical and spiritual senses of his creation.
14} "I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15} As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16} And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
26} But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27} My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28} And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:14-16,26-28 KJV).
Jesus came to defeat the works of Satan. Do you truly desire to hear God’s voice? If you want to hear God’s voice clearly and you are uncertain, then remain in his presence until he changes your hearing. It starts with your heart.
How can you learn to decipher God’s voice? How do you learn anything? It’s a process. The more time you spend with him, the better you know his voice. We often wish God would speak to us through a heavenly e-mail or phone call.
But most of the time when he speaks, his voice comes in a still, small whisper from within. This was exactly my experience after the Lord saved me after I had received him as my Lord and Savior.
Besides Samuel learning how to decipher the difference between God's voice and Eli's, Elijah the prophet experienced a similar situation in a cave after running from evil hearted Queen Jezebel.
Elijah had run to the mountains specifically to hear God’s voice. Sometimes we tend to think that when God speaks, his voice thunders through something big, like thunder or fire or a stormy blast of wind.
But Elijah sat through all those natural disasters and didn’t hear God’s voice at all. While he continued to wait for God to speak, he finally heard the loving faint voice of God Almighty. God's whisper can comfort through a sonic boom.
The Bible tells us when Elijah heard that whisper, he knew it was the voice of God. You don't have to doubt whether it's God calling you. He never speaks the opposite of what you read in his word (The Bible).
Ok, to make things more relatable to your hearing, when your mom calls you, she doesn’t have to identify herself in this way. “Honey, this is your mother calling. Remember me? I’m blonde with long eye lashes. (Smile).
You probably recognize her voice as soon as you hear the first syllable of her first word on the other end of the phone line. God wants you to know his voice that well, too! He wants you to be so tuned in to him no matter the noise in your life.
🗣📢 Last words: Did you know Jesus calls those he has a relationship with, friends? (John 15:15). Did you know God spoke to Moses openly? (Exodus 33:11). Moses had an intimate, direct, conversational relationship with God.
This can only happen by spending time with him. The same way you get to know your spouse after marriage. Some people try to live just off their honeymoon. Moses learned to love God even more after his mountain experience
So, I'd like for you to read the story about how Moses' relationship started and ended with God in your quiet devotion time. Afterwards, think about how you first became friends with someone. Maybe it started with a call.
The more you hear their voice, the faster you recognize them when they speak to you. After a few weeks, they might meet with you, and they see you walking in front of them at your meeting place. They call your name from behind.
But before you turn around you already know who it us because you learned the sound of their voice. You know their inflections, their accent, and their tone, right? When those friendships are impacted by separations, things drift.
How so? When you get to know someone's voice, there are other personality traits you might pick up about them you admire. That's why, many times distant relationships can require more effort to keep strong.
But distance in communication can certainly affect how you might hear them later. These same distance hurdles in principle to your relationship with God. The more time you spend together, the better you get to know him.
The more you talk to him and listen to his voice, the faster you learn to recognize his voice. Reading God’s holy word can help you get to know him better. But just like any loving relationship, you need to care about it.
With all the thousands of "how to” books, YouTube channels, and media shows on marital advice, you would think the divorce rate would be extremely low. But the first tremor earthquake crack in a marriage starts with silence.
Just like our relationship with God, if you go too long without talking to each other and listening to one another, you’ll have a hard time discerning his voice. How well do you know your spouse after long lengthy periods of not speaking to each other?
The Bible tells us to be swift to hear and slow to speak. (James 1:19-25). God teaches us to listen Intently to one another. This involves communication and availability. Sometimes it’s hard to listen in a noisy world.
But it can be done through practical repetitive study of:
A) Focus. When you focus on what you are hearing, you can eliminate all the noise that's not from God. (Colossians 3:1-4; 13-17). Remember beloved, "God says, man says," has two different voices coming from their source.
B) Focus on God's call. Samuel was persistent in hearing God's voice until it was only God speaking and not man. (Eli). When God speaks, everybody should listen. (Isaiah 30:21; Deuteronomy 5:1; Luke 4:21).
C) Focus on staying committed to having strong listening in your hearing. Stay alert to pass all your hearing tests. (2 Chronicles 6:40-42; Romans 10:17; Matthew 13:15; Hebrews 5:11-14).
D) Focus on obedient positioning to hear when the noise seems to overwhelm you. (Mark 4:23-25; Proverbs 20:12-13; 22:17-19; Isaiah 55:3; Luke 8:15). Be ready at all times in your hearing!
Remember beloved, it is important as you grow to remain sensitive to God, even if everyone around you seems deaf to his voice. For this sensitivity to continue, we must continue meeting with him regularly in prayer.
Even though you are “crazy busy” with work, family, other relationships that pull at you, and may involve hard times, you must keep God first in all doings. Even when your environment may not be conducive to spiritual things, trust God.
[It's important to make sure you spend at least a few minutes with God every day. Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and strength. Don't do it because you feel the need to check a box, but as a relationship to cultivate.]
People who think God does not speak are sadly mistaken. He’s speaking. But it could be that you simply haven’t learned the sound of his voice. (Deuteronomy 30:19-20; 1 Samuel 15:22-23; 1 Kings 19:11-18).
You can know God’s voice just as well as Elijah and Samuel did. He speaks to us in a variety of ways. Sometimes he speaks in your life through trusted adults who are close to him. Other times he’ll speak to you through the Bible.
And of course, sometimes he’ll talk to you through your mind and heart by using the Person of the Holy Spirit. Ask God to help you tune in to his voice and to respond in obedience when you hear him. Be still and just listen
🛐 Here’s a conversation discussion to take note of. It could be you and him. Listen carefully. My friend, you have decisions to make, and there is unrest in your heart. You are anxiously longing for answers, and you don’t know what to do.
Listen my beloved, begin by seeking me, as my servant David did. (Psalm 63:1-6). Go to my word. The primary way I speak to you is through the Bible. As you study, look for my direction through teachings and stories that are relevant to your situation.
Ask me to help you understand and apply what you’re reading. The most important key to hearing my voice is to listen after you read my word. Turn off all outside noise, and I will help you discern my voice.
I will quiet your spirit from all the other voices that clamor for your attention. Hearing my voice requires a quiet heart with stillness on the inside in the middle of commotion on the outside. Practice patience in me, my beloved.
Humbly wait for my answers, and eventually your nagging doubt will be replaced with vibrant faith. You will experience peace and understanding in my presence. When my answers come, act in obedience. "I am."
