Reporting his news

HIS REPORT_edited.png

Ok, so, let's think about this. There were   twelve individuals commissioned by Moses (which represented the 12 tribes). So, it’s understandable that every tribe would get to hear the news from their representatives.

These individuals were to go out from Kadesh (Which has significance to it) and search out the land of Canaan, and bring back a report to Moses. This searching wasn't done in a day. There was time to not jump to conclusions.

They searched out the land for 40 days. Think about that number for a moment. How long did Moses stay up the mountain to receive God's commandments? How long did Jesus fast and pray in his wilderness?

Does forty days seem long to you? We live in a society where everyone wants today's news, yesterday. We can be microwave believers when it comes to waiting on news from God. Simply read (Psalm 27:14) into your spirit.

People become impatient when asked to wait. But when the news comes, why do we jump the gun (a running track term) without examining all the facts and then take them to the one overseeing every report?

Have you ever believed a negative report and found out later you were wrong to swallow that opinion? The negative opinion of ten men caused a great rebellion among the people. Are you gullible about false reports?

Do you believe things based on the numbers of mouths reporting it? Do you go to mega churches just because they have 15,000 people in the pews? Does that mean truth is coming from the pulpit? Where is absolute truth found?

Because it is human nature to accept opinion as fact, we must be especially careful when voicing our negative opinions. What we say may heavily influence the actions of those who trust us to give sound advice.

Remember, it was two voices against ten voices. The two were Caleb from the tribe of Judah and Joshua from the tribe of Ephraim. It's always important to seek out people with great reputation that carry factual keen insight in opinion.

Look at how our political landscape has corrupted our media. Those talking heads are supposed to be objective and neutral in their reporting, but many have been swayed by their journalist’s activism for one sided reporting.

Many in the media today use the same fear tactics as the ten spies did. Did you know fear can immobilize you? It can cause your mind to get trapped in group think without thinking for yourself.

It's important to react with prayer, faith, trust, and information to present all sources to a loving God who cares about your wellbeing. Here's what God has over you when it comes to knowing all the facts.

Whether you accept it or not God is omnipotence (all-powerful), omniscience (all-knowing), omnipresence (everywhere). God's thoughts are higher than your thoughts. His ways are higher than your ways.

8} "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9} For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV).

So, for all you over educated high I.Q. geniuses, who think they know more than the creator, think again. If those individuals think they are so intelligent, answer this for me. Why weren't you intelligent enough to choose your birth date.

Why didn't you have the knowledge to choose your own skin color or nationality? Or being born in the place of your choosing? Here's what the Bible says to us who think we have mental superiority over our creator.

1} "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

2} The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

3} They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one." (Psalm 14:1-3 KJV).

The people of Israel were foolish to act as if they knew what God was thinking and planning. His knowledge and wisdom are far greater than any human’s. Did you get all of that?

We are foolish to try to fit God into our mold and way of thinking. We are absolutely incorrect to twist his words and make his plans and purposes conform to ours. Instead, we must strive to fit into his plans.

Moses looked to have people around who were wise. Having wise people around is critical when gathering reports or facts. I've had many people come up to me and hand me different books by authors.

They would sometimes hand me books about certain prominent well-known religious pastors or speakers. Some I might give my approval too and some I might offer an opinion of that person is considered a false teacher.

But when I've maybe not heard of a person, I always do the same thing. I thank them kindly for their gesture and tell them I will read over it and let them know what I think.

But the very first thing I do before opening one page, is pray and consult God about what has just been given to me. It's like I'm literally handing the book over to Jesus and asking his opinion on this reading.

Why do I do this? To keep myself from possible deception. I'm trying to keep my mind from being corrupted by false reporting. The Bible tells us to test the spirit behind everything. (1 John 4:1-6). I'm definitely not a group think person.

Unless they think like the mind of Christ. My spirit bears witness with other believers who know how to believe good reports and reject bad reports. The world will always hear the world, and true born-again believers will hear the Holy Spirit.

Wise biblical thought often provides common sense values. (Proverbs 12:15; 15:22). It is a useful aid in accomplishing God’s plan and purpose in our lives.

🗣📢 Last words: Ok, so let's do a sort of recap as we prepare to close for the day. When it comes to reporting or receiving any report, whose report will you now believe? (Isaiah 53:1). If you know God, believe him.

If you reject his report, (The Bible) then you don't know him. (John 8:42-47; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4; Romans 3:12-18; 8:9-11; Psalm 5:8-12; 1 John 4:6-12). So, whose report will you believe today? There's a lot of voices speaking today.

The first report is not the final report. (Mark 5:35-43). In the sports world, the phrase it's not over until the clock counts down to zero. Some of you who like NFL football may have heard about the great comeback game.

It involved the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens. The fans thought their team (Buffalo) was down for the count in the fourth quarter. Many fans started to leave the game. They were now saddened they didn't see the great comeback.

You don't have to receive the first report that you hear in your ears or see with your eyes. Always consult God or pray with someone who is wise and has a prayer life. You can believe the report if it's true gospel. (Luke 1:1-80).

There are always great examples of true reporting to look at too. Allow these examples to strengthen your trust and faith in God. Read it into your spirit and allow the Holy Spirit to plant it to take root. (Hebrews 11:1-40).

Keep God's report card close in your heart. His report is the only one that matters for your soul. In your devotions solidify the book of 1 Thessalonians into you mind and heart. At the end of the day, what does your report say now?

Please read aloud into your spirit (John 12:37-43). Do you love more the praise of those walking in reported lies or to follow after reported that sets people free? You see beloved, True Christians have what the world doesn't have.

We have an advocate that the world doesn't have. We have a living report that dwells inside of us. Jesus has given his people a testimony to report what has transformed their life. Jesus sent us the Paraclete. Our inner counselor.

We have the greatest reported news in the world to offer to others who are willing to receive it. Matthew 11:28-30; 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; 2:1-38; John 20:28-29). The Holy Spirit brings this report to the church.

You can walk in the assurance that God will keep you from evil reports from all sources, social media, news outlets, politicians, and even false religions that report falsehoods (doctrines) about Jesus and the Bible.

We can walk in the authority that Joshua and Caleb walked in, and not follow the fearful 10 (majority) in 2025. We can still go up at once and possess this nation. We can surely do it! The Lord will give it to us!

It is time for the people of God to start speaking out with con-fi-den-ce! Start believing God over all the backwards stuff our nation is running too. It is time for God’s people to realize that greater is he that is in you!

It's time for us to realize that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper! I am not afraid of people calling me names. Stop believing words like privilege, and negative skin color voices.

God is not a respecter of persons. No skin stands over any other. When God looks at born-again believers he doesn't see the skin, but the blood of Jesus that is applied to that skin! Why do you think heaven is filled with one race?

God's people rest on the reported infallible promises of God. We are comforted by the word of God! We need not be afraid of man, but fear God. (Psalm 27:1-14). Caleb and Joshua believed God, do you?

When David saw Goliath, he saw a giant that would stumble and fall. He saw a giant that would be defeated. David was not afraid of Goliath's words. David didn't believe the reports of why Israel 🇮🇱 should be afraid of him.

David rejected the criticism from within and from without about Goliath. Please read as loud as you can into your spirit (1 Samuel 17:45-51). This not a fairy tale story, this is God Almighty!

With God to fight for him, there was no reason to wait. People may try to discourage you with negative comments or mockery, or evil reports, but you stand with an army this nation cannot contend with. Our God is still an awesome God!

I really believe God is looking for some Calebs and Joshuas in the United States who is not afraid and truly believe God. You can walk in amazing courage through being ignited by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Many of God’s people when they have been challenged to share the gospel with someone who is lost, stop and listen to that bad report. Yes, it’s a great idea to pass out Bible tracts and use resources to spread the good news.

Sometimes we act weak around evil reports. We don't have to be like the cowardly lion in the wizard movie. We can be filled inside with the power of God. Please read into your spirit (Matthew 10:16-22).

We don't have to be weak, or speechless from unbelievers, media, protests, or name-calling. One day all who reject God will see his wrath. We have power and love to witness to lost souls. We can be involved in the Lord's work.

The Bible is completely trustworthy and authoritative in its approach to lost angry people. Raise his banner high church and step out with great report! (Hebrews 4:12). What report will you believe?

🛐 Here’s a prayer you can pray to believe his report. "Heavenly Father, I've seen how easy it can be to believe fabrications and blatant lies that pull unlearned surface individuals from digging to the truth (John 14:6).

Lord, I've been one of those surface follows that are like mindless individuals led to the slaughter of Satan's destruction. Father, I'm coming today to acknowledge I don't have all the answers and am in need of your salvation.

Jesus I'm tired of being intolerant to others showing your love to people like me who are hurting when no one else is around. Jesus, I need your transformational touch on my mind and heart today.

Lord, I thank you for the good news you have shown me through today's message. Even when evil lying reports attack the innocent, help me to not run with majority, but run to your word of truth that sets my soul free.

When lies and bad news attack your church give me boldness and wisdom to share your joy with others. I pray for personal blessings of truth to invade areas throughout this nation.

Lord, please help those lost in anger hate to see the light of your truth and hope found in your word. May my life be a testament to your love, and may I be an effective messenger of your grace in all I do and say, in Jesus name, Amen."
