Real Life For Your Heart

Your new wellness awaits

to wait until you're actually in the presence of God. But healing and wholeness comes to every authentic born-again believer. That I guarantee.
But looking closer in this passage, many disabled people waited on the stirring of the water. Some scholars believe some of the sick may have seen this as some superstitious activity. That may explain the gathering at times.
But when Jesus meets this man, he holds a loving conversation with him. The stirring water has no response, which means the people got out of the water and went about their merry way. Not possibly caring about others.
You know the old saying, "I got mine, get yours!" It becomes an act of self-preservation. But Jesus met this man to give him something whole and complete. Some might think his first question was silly.
“Do you want to get well?” “What? I've been this way for 38 years.” Obviously, this man had lost some hope. Why? Because no one cared to help him. "Isn't that what I started with this morning, sharing and caring, amen?"
This man's hardship had dwindled down to looking for others instead of looking to someone greater along with the help. Jesus bypassed all the religious leaders’ oppressive corrupt rules of healing on the Sabbath.
Did you know there are churches who care more about their legalistic rules than doing things by the moving power of the Holy Spirit? They treat their denominational traditions better than caring for the whole need of a person.
Remember beloved, this man didn't even know who Jesus was until later. When you are sick, you may not remember all who took care of you in the hospital, you just look forward to going back home. Notice the words Jesus spoke to him later.
"See, you have been made well! Do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you" How many stories have you heard about people disregarding what their doctors tell them to getting better?
Did this man take heed to Jesus’ advice? Remember beloved, Jesus can not only make us whole physically, he removes our sin and cleanses us spiritually. That's why he's greater than any physician you have today.
And what does this man do? The man informs the Jewish leaders that Jesus was the one who healed him, leading them to persecute Jesus. After being made physically well, why would he rat out Jesus?
Was he carrying the same attitude as the story of the nine lepers in (Luke 17:17-19). Jesus brings power and authority over all the doings of man's traditions and rigid doctrines and rules. He still remains the only source of true authentic healing.
🗣📢 Last words: When it comes to miracles, God is still in the business. He has not stopped healing. Today, we still have sick individuals that may be sick in their minds, ignorant, and possibly superstitious.
There are a lot of people who go to faith healers today for healing if they send them money. They will mail them some item that has supernatural powers to heal them. Faith is great. But sometimes demonic powers are the source they use.
There certainly are churches and denominations that take advantage of people who suffer from illnesses. At this place of suffering, Jesus offered more than physical healing, he offered wholeness deep to the spirit as well.
You see beloved, we are more than physical beings, we have an eternal spirit that Jesus came to renew with regeneration power. It will always be the power of God unto salvation. It will be the power of God that involves healing.
The love Jesus poured out on this man came with a warning after he located him again. The religious leaders only cared about their burdensome rules not the man. Jesus gave warning after his healing.
Sin can cause long lingering damaging effects when we don't heed warnings. Important to read (Matthew 12:43-45). So, you see, some sicknesses can be spirit related. Something worse can show its ugliness in your life.
Earlier I mentioned using the word "sandwich" in today's message. You can see how wonderful the word of God is. You can see the Apostle Paul' writings on dealing with spiritual gifts in first and second Corinthians.
Paul was bringing order to this church on what they should do about the gifts of the Spirit. God has given gifts unto the church for edification. (1 Corinthians 12:4-31; and again in 1 Corinthians 14:12-40). Also (Ephesians 4:4-16).
And as with any great sandwich, the main star is not necessarily the bread, but what goes in between it. Notice how the love chapter (1 Corinthians 13:1-13), neatly fits between chapters 12 and 14. How does this apply concerning healing?
Well, 1 Corinthians 13 points out that if these gifts from God are not utilized properly through fervent prayer (James 5:13-16), then you are just making senseless noise to those who hear and observe your actions.
Everything Jesus did, was covered in love. Why? Because he Imitated his Father's love. (John 3:16-17). Love comes from God (1John 4:7-21). When you love someone through the Holy Spirit’s leading, healings break through.
[Great faith, acts of dedication or sacrifice, and miracle-working power produce very little without love. Love makes our actions and gifts useful. People have different gifts, but everyone can have huge amounts of love.]
Let me be clear beloved, love is not just an emotion or a thought. Love must be demonstrated. Love does, or does not, right? Love means more than good thoughts and feelings. Love is a demonstration, not just a thought.
Many of you all over the country celebrated "Valentines Day" yesterday. Some are hoping their relationships will find forgiveness and healing of shattered hurts. Inviting the love of Jesus into it is the best gift for you both.
Jesus showed his love and healing touch each day during his earthly ministry. He is still providing healing and miracles in 2026. I would ask those who are just sick and tired this morning, "What are you hoping for?"
Have you ever experienced God’s peace in the midst of your suffering? Do you need the saving love of Jesus today? You simply just come to him as you are, sickness and all. Will God heal you? Maybe not in the way you might think.
His perfect will and grace is always available to us. We ultimately receive complete wholeness (healing), whether on this side of grace in these earthly bodies or when we leave these earthly bodies.
We can rejoice now for the type of body we will receive just like he had after rising from the dead. (1 John 3:1-3). Jesus sends the fruit of the Spirit to those who seek him, even in the midst of great suffering.
Many of you may be suffering with debilitating physical ailments. But I'm here to encourage you to trust God above all other help you’re seeking. You can be like the man at the pool, or you can invite Jesus into your physical problem.
David's Psalm in chapter 23 clearly points out that we are the Lord's sheep. David was himself a shepherd. Sheep depend on the shepherd to care for all their needs. The Lord is often referred to as the shepherd of his people.
Israel experienced this great care as they journey through Egypt. (Psalm 80:1; Isaiah 40:10-11; Ezekiel 34:11-16). Remember my friends, the Apostle Paul prayed that God would remove his affliction.
Please read (2 Corinthians 12:7-10) aloud into your spirit if you are depressed today about your ailing condition. Read it again. Paul knew having Jesus was better than anything else on this earth. (Philippians 3:7-10).
Jesus told us it's better to rid yourself of something than your whole life being separated from him in hell. (Matthew 5:30-31; 18:8-9). Jesus has something greater for you if you'll allow him to show you.
It doesn't matter your background, race, political affiliation, educational background, rich or poor, or birthplace, none of these distinctions separate us from the love of Jesus Christ when we invite him in to our brokenness.
No matter how trapped you feel in your hurts and infirmities, God can minister to your deepest needs. Don’t let a problem or hardship cause you to lose hope. God may have special work for you to do in spite of your condition.
There are many born-again believers who have triumphed over their seemingly debilitating circumstances to serve God with fullness of joy whether he heals them or not. The joy of the Lord becomes their strength!
"Jehovah Rapha" is our Lord who heals. Our God restores every physical, emotional, and spiritual touch towards our wholeness. The body of Christ has all they need through the power and might of Jesus Christ.
In his strength they can do all things. They can minister more effectively to hurting people because they have triumphed over their own hurts. Continue to stand in his power. (Ephesians 6:10-20).
🎵 Just as I am, without one plea, But that thy blood was shed for me, And that thou bidd’st me come to thee, O Lamb of God, I come! I come! 🎵
☆☆☆ For the Bible hungry members of "Try Jesus" ministry who did last week's assignment, here are the answers.
The Wedding in Cana (John 2:1-12). Jesus' first miracle occurred here.

The House of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10): Jesus stayed with the tax collector in Jericho.
The House of Matthew (Mark 2:15). Jesus ate with tax collectors and sinners.
The House of Simon the Leper (Matthew 26:6-13). A woman anointed Jesus with oil.
The House of Mary and Martha (Luke 10:38-42). Jesus taught in their home.
Keep staying hungry for God’s word saints!
🛐 Here’s a prayer you can pray to trust God for whole healing. "Heavenly Father, thank you Lord for today's uplifting message. I was on the verge of sinking into great depression. I was ready to give up, just quit.
But after hearing about the amazing power of God's love and how he touched my spirit, I was not ready to give Satan the win he thought he had over me. Today's message gave me hope to keep looking at the prize of life, Jesus!
Father, I realize your grace is enough for me to rejoice over. But as your servant Paul did, I'm nonetheless asking for your supernatural touch on my physical ailments. Lord, please touch my body, remove my sickness.
Jesus, restore my health only for your glory. I desire to be like the one lone leper who returned to give thanks and worship. Lord, please bring your comfort to my body and spirit during chronic pain or suffering.
Jesus, you are the greatest physician that ever walked this earth. You are not just practicing on me to see what works. You already know my diagnosis before I utter it from my lips. Please guide every medical hand that touches me.
Father, I'm seeking your wisdom and strength above all words that speak to my illness. I'm trusting your plan for me today. When my faith stumbles, take hold of my hand so that my limbs receive strength to stand tall.
I am restored only by the comfort and touch of your Holy Spirit. I fully believe in your ability to make me whole. True healing is mine through your Spirit. I surrender to you, Lord of my life.
Father, in faith and total peace, I trust you alone. Even over my earthly medical assistance. Lord, I rest in an awareness of you, knowing that I am being renewed, restored, and revitalized. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray, Amen."
