The Internal Upgrade

knows them and desires to transform them in newness.
3} "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4} And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5} And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6} And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7} He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." (Revelation 21:3-7 KJV).
Notice the wording in "make new." This is an ongoing, definitive work of the Sovereign King (1 John 3:2-3). God targets the core of who we are. You are made wholly new (entirely transformed in Jesus).
Your broken pieces aren't just glued back together; they are fundamentally re-created. When God said, "I make," the Greek verb is "poieo." It denotes doing something in the present active tense. It involves producing, constructing.
It is an orchestrating masterful work of his hands transforming you until you stand and kneel before him. It just happens to be the same meaning in Genesis 1 for creation.
God wants to actively, powerfully execute a cosmic and personal re-creation in your life right now. Not yesterday or tomorrow, but right now! But only if you'll allow him to do so. (Revelation 3:20).
God will never force you on his assembly line makeover of your life. You get to choose which assembly line you want. (Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Revelation 20:10-15; 21:8; 2 Peter 3:9-14). The Lord is seeking after broken hearts.
As I mentioned earlier about inviting my friend to church, it's not the new suit that makes you new. It's not the new year resolution that makes you new. Standing and actively walking and living in Jesus makes you newly whole.
🗣📢 Last words: Think about this beloved. Your new identity in Jesus requires walking in a new direction. You have been given a clean slate; now you must stop returning to the graveyard of your past mistakes.
Being newly whole means you view your scars not as evidence of your past trauma, but as trophies of God’s ultimate restoration. Hallelujah! Praise God! He has made me glad! I'm not ready for the garbage salvage landfill.
I am now God's ultimate trophy of his loving restoration! That deserves an Amen! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! You can now operate from a place of victory, not for a place of victory. Does that resonate in your thinking?
Beloved, we are all flawed sinful lemons in need of a spiritual overhaul. We come into the world a beautiful baby, but we are a unfinished product. We are the same broken clay, needing a new pot.
This is how God reshapes our lives without discarding who we are. Our needed upgrade is from the gospel, the Bible, which is the only good news that can change us. Many think any religion or doctrine can do.
But that's not what Jesus said. If any religion will do then why did Jesus reject what the Pharisees were offering to the people? (John 8:42-44; 1 John 4:1-4). The gospel that Jesus spoke not only improves our external habits; it replaces our internal engine.
That's what the old self to the new self is all about. Jesus is the only one who could sweep our house (spirit) clean by sending the Holy Spirit. Did you know some religions reject there even being a Person called the Holy Spirit?
So, if they don't know the Holy Spirit, then how can they know Jesus? And if they don't know Jesus, then how can they know God? See the connection? (Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2).
Living in Pennsylvania, I've heard the words of a famous coach that went like this, "The standard is the standard." But when you allow the very one to transform your life from being a deceived lemon to a new creation, the standard is elevated.
It's like you were a Flintstones vehicle to now being a Rolls-Royce. The new you is being consecrated for today, tomorrow and for eternity. God just keeps renewing us over and over again. We are God's new building. (1 Corinthians 3:9).
Please consider reading these living words as accessories to your factory lemon change overhaul on God's new spiritual assembly line. (Isaiah 25:8-9; 43:13-20; 65:16-17; Ezekiel 36:26). All God's words are trustworthy and true.
The written Word of God is faithful and true (2 Timothy 3:16-17, and the living word of God is also faithful and true (Revelation 19:9-13). In the afterlife (as some call it), for the Christians, there will be no death.
There will be no more tears, sorrow, crying, or pain. Everything will become new. God’s promises are true; he is not a man that he should lie. His promises are true, and he is always faithful to his word.
Like a new automobile fresh off the assembly line, we'll have new bodies, new hearts, and a fresh desire for worship, and we will be with millions of brothers and sisters we have not yet met.
By faith (Ephesians 2:8-10), we look forward to living forever with God in this glorious place he has created. In heaven, everyone is one in Jesus. Race and those trying to use it in a victimized way, have no power over the church or those in heaven.
Yes, God is color blind. He sees his lemon (us) as needing repair from the devil's vision of using racism to divide us. (John 9:39-41). People that see racism in everything are like new vehicles being driven off the assembly line without headlights at night.
Churches that walk in false guilt about the history of racism are giving the enemy a foothold against them to keep them from being effective and powerless with spreading the gospel.
Newly Whole means dropping contentious negative rhetoric words like white privilege, which doesn't and shouldn't exist in Holy Spirit filled churches, regardless of race. God is not a respecter of persons.
All true born-again believers are made new without the exterior having any privilege over the other. (Ephesians 4:3-7; 11-24). Nowhere is privilege of skin color for anyone is mentioned. But unity and love are certainly mentioned.
Again, we come into this world a broken-down lemon-jalopy. For those who might be too young to know what a jalopy is, it is an old, rundown, beat-up car that is falling apart and barely working. Sometimes we act just like those cars.
Even Christians that need that spiritual tune-up can act like the broken assembly line the world runs on every day. Just do a study on these passages and you might understand why your engine (heart) is running like the worlds.
(1 Corinthians 15:33; Proverbs 13:20; 14:7-9; 22:24-25; 2 Corinthians 6:14; Psalm 1:1-6). It can be easy to get sludge in your spiritual crankcase if you're not careful. Christians, keep striving for a holiness running heart.
Here's something to store away in the spiritual glove compartment of your heart before we pray. In the natural history of art, there's a famous Japanese art form called Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired.
They use a substance called lacquer dusted with powdered gold. The result is beautiful, but the original fractures are still visible. It is a philosophy of being "newly whole" by celebrating the cracks.
But Jesus approaches us differently as his masterpiece. When the King of kings speaks from his throne in (Revelation 21:5), He doesn’t say, "I am repairing old things." He says, "I am making all things new." Beloved, do you grasp that?
Why are true Christians so adamant about sharing the gospel with those who may perish with old dead sinful cracks that destroys their life and separates them from God for all eternity?
The simple truth (whether unbelievers receive it or not), Jesus sits on the throne. When your broken because of unbelief, Jesus' love for you desires him to take the shattered pieces of your life and fix them.
He takes those cracked, shattered, broken pieces of your life, and melts them completely back down into the raw clay, and spins a flawless, brand-new vessel on the potter's wheel.
God doesn't just want to patch your trauma with spiritual gold so you can limp through life. He wants to change your spiritual DNA. He takes you from being a cracked pot to a wholly new creation.
When this takes place, the old structural sinful flows no longer define you. The old is gone, the new has come. Now rejoice and let the world know it!
"I hope and pray that many of you took time to pray over our nation during 9/11 on Friday. My prayer for our nation is that we will turn back to the God of the Bible, not religious counterfeits, Jesus still stands as the remedy for brokenness"
🛐 Here’s a prayer you can pray to get fixed the "Whole Right Way." "Heavenly Father, thank you, that you don't see me the way others see me, and sometimes the way I see myself. You see me as what I can be in your hands.
Lord, Savior, deliverer, healer. You are not a God who leaves me in my brokenness, nor are you a God who merely patches up my past. Today, Lord, I surrender the "old lemon" version of my life.
Lord, all my past mistakes, habits, and my generational years that affected others around me, and my selfish ways I surrender at your feet. I can now declare that repentance from sin, I've been washed clean in your blood.
Because I am now in you, Jesus, the old is gone and the (kainos) new has arrived! Lord, continue to do a divine demolition where it's needed. Spin me on your potter's wheel and make me wholly new from the inside out.
Help me, Lord; to walk away from this "Try Jesus" message so I can walk out new, improved, and whole for all to see.
Please give me courage to stop visiting the graveyards of who I used to be and empower me by your Holy Spirit.
I am now ready to learn, grow, and step boldly into the version 2.0 destiny you have authored for me. Keep my eyes locked with the one on the throne who says, "Behold, I make all things new." In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen."
